This trial is a first of its kind, as its success will allow healthcare practitioners to leverage the Ultrahuman ecosystem to manage and improve their patients’ metabolic health.
The first study is to correlate our proprietary Metabolic Score with clinical biomarkers of metabolic health, which have been in use for multiple decades and are well understood.
This is an observational and multi-arm study. It is the gold standard as it prevents bias and is entirely administered by a highly specialised clinical research organisation. This study is conducted at multiple sites across India with doctors in various states. It includes non-diabetic and pre-diabetic participants within the age group of 25-50 years with rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria.
The study will establish a correlation between clinical biomarkers of metabolic health and Ultrahuman’s Metabolic Score and assess the platform’s impact on driving behaviour change and the impact of activity and sleep on glucose levels. It also aims to tie back glucose response to other factors such as microbiome and stress.
These trials have been designed in consultation with our medical and advisory board from across the globe in strict adherence to global standards and best practices. We aim to do multiple trials over time in various geographies.
